Don't worry my exotic friends with fur, fins, and stripes you are all safe!I have been invited to one of Indianapolis' coveted spots on the Indyhub.org VIP Twitter team for Indianapolis' Zoobilation. It is the hottest black-tie party/fundraiser in Indianapolis. I have been told that it is actually the largest one day fundraiser in Indy. Pretty cool to help our local zoo and their conservation efforts.
Being the "FASHION GUY" on the team, I have no pressure to represent the perfect black tie look for the event. Instead of filling up Social Club 19 with zoo animals and making it look like Ke$ha took over the site for the next couple of months, I started this extension. Before all the fun begins maybe a couple of points to clarify:
1) INDYHUB:
You might hear a few references to IndyHub. IndyHub is a cool organization around Indianapolis that:
We advocate for Indy's twenty-/ thirty-somethings, providing a resource and space to learn and become a part of this city.They hold a heated competition on Twitter, to give away a few spots on their VIP official twitter team for Zoobilation. 2) ZOOBILATION
This year's theme is "Safari in the City". June 14, the penguins won't be the only ones overdressed at the zoo. The sold out fundraiser is filled with black tie looks for guys and sparkly gowns for the ladies. Cocktails and a feast of local restaurants provide snacks for the night. Not to mention the other surprises that await guests.
The event is sold out, but you support the event by visiting one of the restaurants on this year's list of supporters. Go ahead and plan a visit to the Indianapolis Zoo and see what all the buzz is about.
